I am a huge fan of popular culture, and that reflects heavily in my designs. After all, to produce true art you have to follow your passion. My passion leads me to movies, video games and TV shows, both classics from the past and this season’s blockbusters.

I only chose those films, shows and other pieces of our collective culture that have deep meaning for me, and work to elevate that meaning into something that other movie lovers can connect with. My art is heavily concept-driven, and I believe that a minimalist conceptual treatment can turn a simple poster into the kind of art that makes you remember how these movies made you feel the first time you saw them, and thereby serve to inspire you in your daily life.

It is more than just an image from the movie, it is an attempt to connect with the idea of the movie itself, in a way that appeals to almost any pop culture addict, er... fan. These pieces are not just the movies that they love, but the feeling behind them.

That is my art, or at least, what I want my art to be.
